Aluminium producer stocks fell 549,000 tons in the first half of 2004

Inventories of aluminum producers fell by 549,000 tons in the first half of 2004. According to the data of the International Aluminum Association (IAI), inventory of manufacturers decreased in June; raw aluminum inventories fell by 99,000 tons, and total inventory fell by 116,000 tons. The total reportable inventory fell by 262,000 tons in June. From the end of 2003 to date, total reported inventory decreased by 549,000 tons.
